Thanks for your comments and yes your holiday can turn into a nightmare these days especially in the Carribean where hotels are not as safe or sanitary.  Look at the age of the mattress under the sheets and that should give you a good indication of whether the hotel is pro-actively protecting the health of its patrons.
There should also be a " protective cover" over the mattress to offer some protection against bed bugs, but its not foolproof.
I think all Hotel chains should use dogs to inspect their rooms as they are highly accurate.  Thanks for dropping by and do sign up for the newsletter above....see you soon!
