You may consider if dogs are truly meat eaters or can a dog be vegetarians? The problem is whether an all meat diet which is mainly protein provides a balanced variety of nutritional needs of a dog. If your dog is getting sick or vomiting after a meal you may now know why and you may need the parsley water recipe. What is a vegetarian dog? There is a commonality of a human being’s physiology to that of a dog and it would make sense for dogs also to be vegetarians. As for my dog unfortunately before I brought her home, she was raised on Wal-Mart’s Old Roy and macaroni and cheese. Unfortunately not a good diet to grow a puppy into a health adult dog and her health suffered for it.
As a puppy I built up her immune system by feeding her what I eat for I am on an basic vegetarian diet. What is that? Well it’s low or no fat, little or no meat for Whoopie although some fats are necessary for brain function and we all know we both need more of that working for us. I also give her the parsley water recipe to improve her health and it seems to be working wonders. My diet is sixty percent raw vegetables and forty percent cooked foods of which include: Buckwheat, Brown Rice, ground Flaxseeds, Grits, and Oatmeal. My vegetables includes raw: avocado, cucumber, salads, radicchio, raw parsley, beets, carrots, and fruits such as: dried apricots, pears, apples, oranges, mangos, dried papaya, and cherries, blueberries, and blackberries. I try to keep sugar to a minimum for me and for my dog, since cancer feeds on sugar and we do not want that happening again. I am a breast cancer survivor and have made great changes in what I eat over years of much research. The results are in and I now enjoy being cancer free for over seven years.I drink parsley water daily and it keeps my kidneys cleansed and helps them work better. Older Dogs Need Less Protein: As veterinarians know that are nutrition savvy, (that is smart veterinarians) that older dogs with arthritis need less protein as they age. In fact an older dog is derives much benefit from vegetables in alkalizing their systems which reduces acid and arthritis pain. Mostly because proteins cause more acid which irritates arthritis and causes more painful joints limiting mobility. It makes sense to incorporate more vegetable easily digested proteins for your dog and less meat or animal proteins for better health.Parsley Water Benefits: - keeping the kidneys flowing- keeping parasites to a minimum- oxidizes radical molecules that damage your body- neutralizes carcinogens- rich in Vitamin K, C and A. - helps reduce arthritic conditions Parsley Water Recipe: Cook a large amount of fresh parsley preferably organic, or wash non organic in filtered water, stems and all into a medium pot of boiling water about one quart or a quart and one half of volume. Boil this for about 3 minutes to extract the benefits of the parsley. The water will turn a light green color and you will let this cool down to put in glass container with a lid and in the fridge it goes. Dogs Weight: 10 Pounds (5 Kilograms) Put 1 teaspoon parsley water on pet’s food.20 Pounds (10 Kilograms) Put 2 teaspoons parsley water on pet’s food.30 Pounds (15 Kilograms) Put 3 teaspoons parsley water on pet’s food.40 Pounds (20 Kilograms) Put 4 teaspoons parsley water on pet’s food.50 Pounds continue with the correct amounts of parsley water. If you have ever seen a cat or dog eating grass in the back yard or on a non pesticide lawn, you will see that a dog knows its needs and is trying to get some balance in its diet.
