What Kind of Vitamins does My Dog Need Every Day?

This question seems to puzzle most people who are concerned that their dog may need vitamins on a daily basis.
How and what kind of vitamins do I need for my dog? Where do I get dog vitamins? Well alot depends on the age of your dog, what type of dog food you are using, and if your dog has a health condition.
If you are using a high quality organic blend of good dog food that is not composed of by- products, or chicken meal, or chemicals, or preservatives then you are way ahead of the crowd. However you are the exception rather than the rule.
Mainly because some natural dog foods may cost more, but when you factor in the vet bills, it’s a no brainer. Mostly try to include wheatgrass, and other greens, raw meaty bones, fresh fruits, seaweeds, vegetables, and fresh eggs. The same diet applies to cats, rabbits, birds, and other household pets. Its is a shame to report that many people just may be tempted to return back to the pet food stores and buy the leading brand names trusting that they are feeding their dogs a healthy diet. It is my experience that pet foods have not changed all that much since last March. So if you wonder why your dog is sick, tires easily, and not as healthy as it should be, look into what you’re buying for pet food. A healthy dog, I can agree does not need supplement really unless it is getting over a disease, illness or accidents. That is only if you are using a high quality diet, using organic foods only. If you are not feeding properly - vitamins and dog supplements are pretty much a necessity. A Veterinarian by the name of Wendell Belfield back in 1965 but 2000 milligrams of Buffered Vitamin C and injected it into a dog that had canine distemper.
That started orthomolecular medicine in a veterinarian practice in which he later developed the combinations of vitamins in optimum concentrations that are necessary for canine life.
In research dating back to 1925, there has been a link with Vitamin A deficiency and cancer. Liver and brewer’s yeast protected rats fed a food coloring that caused liver cancer. also talked of a Missouri veterinarian who used Vitamin C and E to treat canine tumors.
Dr. H.H. Robertson would inject intravenously one gram of Vitamin C for each pound of the dog’s weight, and added Vitamin E by injection also, of 400 IU’s for five days. Following which there was additional Vitamin C given to the dog with good results.
According to Dr. Robertson the average tumor took about 3 weeks to resolve. Vitamin C is also known to have been used to treat cats that had positive tests for leukemia, and after six weeks the cats were all negative for leukemia.
My simple formula is: Bad food + chemicals = disease followed by early death.
