My Top Dog in The Westminster Dog Show
Feb 13th, 2008 by Teri
The superbowl for dog lovers is happening tonight as I write this post,
I am wondering whether Uno the Beagle will win Top Dog honors this evening.
Its all over the news and a well attended event with plenty of fans in New York City.
His name is Uno, which I happen to know means ” One” in Italian would be the first
time a beagle wins the Westminster Kennel Club in over 132 years of competitions.
Why not, I love beagles and this guy is so adorably cute but competition is very stiff this year. Uno has won his best in breed and best of group in the hounds and tonite he faces almost six other breeds including a poodle called ” Remy” who is the heavyweight champion of lots of Best in Show titles todate.
The Celebrity Diva Patty Hearst has a French Bull Dog in the show. She has shown
her dog Diva, for the past 3 years, and has won Best Overall Female for the Breed.
French Bull Dogs I happen to love, they are so compact and have a face only a mother could love.
I once went to a lawyer’s office and found this French Bull Dog named Gaston, and the only thing that kept me away from him was his passing of gas in the lawyer’s office.
That could have put off more clients than me but he was there on a pillow near the front window just perfuming the whole office.
We will find out the results later tonite, may the best Dog win.
But really they are all best dogs even the ones sitting by you right now- all dogs are beautiful.
