Hi Betty:
Thanks for your question as it pertains to chamomile tea I usually drink one cup. For my dog Whoopie who weighs about 30 pounds I use 2 teaspoons and for the Shih Tzus I would suggest about 1 teaspoon. I know what you mean about thunder, my dog is not affected by it much unless it is really loud, then she gets frightened. Chamomile tea is not a drug and has been used for centuries to calm the nerves and help people to sleep. I have been using it for over 50 years and it helps me. Hope this helps you to calm your dogs and help them sleep better.

I have 3 dogs, a Lhasa Apso that is 30 pounds, Shih Tzus that are about 8 pounds. How much of the chamomile tea would I give each one? My one Shih Tzu is afraid of thunder and I tried the tea for her but did not know how much to use. What I did give her helped calm her down and she slept through the storm but I have not used it since as I did not want to give her too much. Thanks for your help Betty
