Start with going to a park - some parks here are leashless and some are with a lease requirement. I try to ease Whoopie into saying " hello" to other dogs and they pretty much do the rest. When I introduce her to another dog - she gets protective of me and may bark...but within a minute or so, they are both wagging their tails! It becomes a regular outing and she looks forward to seeing her pals at the park. Maybe you may have one near you that you can take her too, also I take her to the petstore and she loves that! I wish we had somewhere like that near me. Joyee actually needs to learn to mingle with other dogs. I think sometimes she forgets she is a dog.
