Dogs are more atuned to us and our surroundings than we are to them. Oh, to be so wise as to have the rational of humans and the instincts of dogs.

Thanks very much for your comments and I commend you for adopting rescued dogs and cats Denise, that is so heartwarming that you open your home to these fine animals.

Maggie May is just one example of a dog that came into a woman's life for a reason and saved her life. I am sure your pets are so lucky to have you as a mom, did you say 2 sheep also? That is fantastic!!

We all need to spread the word and keep the pet stores from buying dogs from the puppy mills.

Every animal I have is a rescued pet. For the last 15 years its been this re-occuring pattern that these dogs and cats enter out lives in strange ways. (even two sheep!) And I would have it no other way.

It breaks my heart to hear and see some of the stories of these pets that desperately need homes. They make the best pets and sometimes need a little more time to adjust but they know they are lucky and they add to a family.

Great post!!!
