Dog Pause Bowl Prevents Dog Bloat

Does your dog inhale food or eat too fast and what are the dangers of eating too quickly for pets? Why dogs eat quickly dates back to when they are born and have to compete for mom’s milk the competition taught them to get it while you can and they scarf food down when it is available.

This looks like a really great invention for dogs that eat to fast, like mine! Smithy gobbles his food down in about one minute just like the dog in the video. I am concerned he might be eating too fast and am glad you gave the link in the article, thanks Teri!!
My dog Kramer is always grabbing my other dog’s food because he eats his first. Its a battle just to keep them from fighting over food sometimes. I try to feed them at different times and that doesn’t work either. At least with this bowl I can see it will slow them down and am going to order some bowls. Great idea.
Great post. Right now my dog eats mannerly but this would have been great for a few of my other dogs.
Would this work for cats?
What a great idea this is I was wondering if I could use several types of food in the same bowl using the smaller portions? Definitely this is an improvement over regular bowls.
