Just announced today January 23, 2009 the first steps to eradicating diseases for humans after so much success has been made for stem cells applications for animals such as dogs, cats and horses.

Today President Obama signed his pen, and with this the FDA finally has approved the first embryonic stem cell trial on American soil. This means great improvements in diseases such as arthritis, spinal cord injuries, diabetes, liver disease and a myriad of other diseases including cancer.

Stem cell technology has been used world wide in other countries except for the USA, and the stem cells can regenerate nerve tissues amongst other applications it can reverse bone disease.

As it has been used by a company called Vet Stem who have been diligently doing stem cell application for dogs by using just the fat tissue of the dog, and extracting the stem cells -then re-injecting those stem cells back into an arthritic joint to heal it.

Now people can actually benefit from the research that will now take place, thanks to President Barack Obama, and this is huge! The FDA has been stopping stem cell research for political reasons and now that George Bush is gone, we can now proceed to cure diseases without drugs, without surgery and without death.

It is a happy day for pets and for people now that stem cell research will take place in the USA and it will benefit pets as well as people if the research is allowed to happen.
