That is not surprising and our condolences to the dog's owner your neighbor. The micro chipping of dogs or humans for that matter is not necessary. The injecting of a foreign object in the body of a human or a dog will cause the body to reject it. It is totally unnatural and can cause cancer to grow at the site. Thanks for your comment.

I have one entry against microchips I'd like to add. One of my neighbors had her dog microchipped. Lightning struck her dog at the site on its back where the microchip was implanted. A hole was burned into its back and it had to be put to sleep.

As has been already answered, one puppy per crate. However, I'm seriously worried about you considering flying 9 week old puppies in the first place. If your mum is involved here, isn't it possible for her to hold them until they are significantly older? Personally I'd not risk traumatising tiny puppies of this very young age by flying them, and especially not right across the country!!

There is only one animal allowed per cage on any airplane. They say that it is a humane thing, which to some extent is true. We all know that it cost a lot of money to send a pet by air and that is what they are really after.

It's not a math question of area and volume- it depends on the airline. Most airlines have requirements based on weight of the dog and the actually ability- the dog has to be able to stand up, lie down, turn around, and sit up comfortable. And most airlines have a one dog per carrier policy- it helps prevent possible accidents during unsettling, fighting, potential suffocation etc. In your head, you're imaging a bunch of puppies sitting nicely in a carrier on the floor of the living room- not in an unusual situation, in somewhere that smells different, with turbulence and other scary things. Not only that, but you'd need a huge crate and it would be hard to measure if ALL the puppies could do those things at the same time.

Phone the airline and ask- but most likely you'll need four separate, correct size, carriers.

Yes you can Jose, dissolve the probiotics powder in water however a simple trick that I use is put it in a couple of tablespoons of natural yogurt. Dogs love yogurt and they will get the extra benefit of the ingredients and it is so good for their digestion. Thanks for your question.

Hi Martin: You can get further information and call Vet Stem directly -they will be glad to help you out, here is the link:

http://www.vet-stem.com/

They have a list of veterinarians trained to extract the stem cells, and the fat tissue is sent to their laboratory, then sent back to your vet for implantation. Using the dog's own stem cells eliminates the rejection factor of other procedures.
Please call them for more details,
