Dogs do not chew very much so it could become serious and require a trip to the vet. I would try to keep Casey away from the hummingbird feeder, or place it higher up. Dogs may have allergic reactions to stings so I would keep some Benadryl handy, the usual dose is 1 milligram per pound of weight, or a 25 mg tablet. I experimented with all natural food for an elderly, arthritic dog and was amazed at the difference in her. She was livelier and even had a little bounce back in her step.
