What Causes Kidney Failure
The function of the kidney is to filter toxins out of the body through the urinary tract and healthy kidneys can usually handle a great amount of toxins easily. When the kidney is damaged it is less able to handle the toxic overload and more liquid or fluids are required to flush out the junk.

The Haiti disaster on Jan. 12, 2010 has been a disaster of untold consequences to human life. The problem is the rubble and people trapped under mountains of concrete and the US has send search and rescue to dogs to help save Haitians.
These dogs sniff for human life and are finding people alive in Haiti and some are from the Search Dog Foundation in the United States. This organization was started in 1996 for disaster and is a non-profit and non-government organization which has helped firefighters find people in disasters.

The one trait or aspiration in a dog is to become The Leader of the Pack. This is known as the Alpha Dog Syndrome -or the ability for you to remain the Master and the dog your pack follower.
Have you ever seen a person walking the dog and the dog is walking ahead of the person? That is being the Alpha Dog. A properly trained dog follows slightly behind its owner at the left hand side. The dog follows the person -not the other way around. If your dog is peeing on the rug or stealing food from your kitchen counter -the dog is trying to outwit you and become the Alpha Dog again you have to discourage this behavior before it sets in your dog’s mind that it is acceptable to you.
This is a basic training technique that instills in the dog that YOU are the TOP DOG not them and you should come first, walk first, eat first and be first out of the front door of your house.
These are amazing ways to tell your dog that you are the Master and once this is established further training is a breeze. Therefore when you walk your dog make them “HEEL” and obey your commands quickly.
Do not let them lead you on the leash or they will think they come first and will become the Alpha Dog and you are the follower. Many pet owners make this mistake and “allow” this behavior and then they get upset when the dog does not obey other commands. Push gently on the dog’s chest area ….not on its head but pushing the chest means something to a dog. It means you are the Master and the dog will get the drift.
You want to take this course yourself and learn the tips that will save you headaches in owning a dog. The earlier you start this training the better even at the age of 7 to 8 weeks a dog should be taught the basics of following commands from you. If you are consistent with your training each day at the beginning of the puppies life you will get results.
Sit is an easy one- just say the word “SIT” and if the dog is still standing push down on their back at the bum area gently of course and make the dog sit. They will get the idea eventually and are very eager to please you.
