You have to howl at these Pet Strollers that carry your dog and some critics will say but that defeats the purpose of a walk.
These strollers are designed to help your dog enjoy some outdoors and fresh air when they are lame, disabled, or older dogs that just can’t make it all the way home. You can walk your dog along with the stroller and when they are getting tired give them a lift all the way home. In this manner your dog will enjoy the fresh breezes and still be outdoors. Dogs that are sick are not likely to want to get out of the house much but as they progress and get better you will find this stroller comes in handy.

Is it possible for your dog to get the swine flu from a human who contracted the swine virus from a pig? Seems like these viruses have crossed the line of human to animal and back to human to another species. It makes one wonder what is being cooked up in those laboratories these days.
You would think there would be a real effort to cure diseases rather than create new ones. No one believes that a virus from 1918 could surface again unless it was released from a lab.
Well back to dogs now. Do Dogs get the human H1N1 virus? No. Do they get other viruses? Yes. Can they be cured and prevented yes.

In the same way that millions of people cope with diabetes, so too, does the disease affect canines. Specifically, the disorder is called diabetes mellitus (DM). An insulin deficiency prevents your pooch’s body from metabolizing glucose effectively. There are two varieties of DM: Type I and Type II. The former is the most prevalent type (99% of dogs with DM suffer from this type) and occurs when the body doesn’t produce enough insulin. The latter occurs when insulin is manufactured but your pooch’s body isn’t able to use it properly.
Dog lovers and owners everywhere are often faced with the issue of how to get rid of fleas! When your pet gets infested with fleas it can be an agonizing experience for both the dog and the owner and the rest of the family. We know there are side-effects of some well known dog flea products. The chemicals used in some of the nationally available household name products and may be harming our dogs and cats and potentially damaging our own health to boot. The local pet store sells a number of different flea shampoos, flea powders and flea collars including Frontline for fleas. Even though the staff are helpful and know their stuff, it is still difficult to know which product to use and almost impossible to know all of the chemical in these flea products. So for many of us the question still remains, how to get rid of fleas safely?
How to Train my Dog and solve behavior problems is what most pet owners want to know and the knowledge that you did a good job training your pet to obey commands is fulfilling for you and the dog.
What Most Pet Owners Do Not Know about their Dog
The one trait or aspiration in a dog is to become The Leader of the Pack. This is known as the Alpha Dog Syndrome -or the ability for you to remain the Master and the dog your pack follower.
Have you ever seen a person walking the dog and the dog is walking ahead of the person? That is being the Alpha Dog. A properly trained dog follows slightly behind its owner at the left hand side. The dog follows the person -not the other way around. If your dog is peeing on the rug or stealing food from your kitchen counter -the dog is trying to outwit you and become the Alpha Dog again you have to discourage this behavior before it sets in your dog’s mind that it is acceptable to you.
This is a basic training technique that instills in the dog that YOU are the TOP DOG not them and you should come first, walk first, eat first and be first out of the front door of your house.
These are amazing ways to tell your dog that you are the Master and once this is established further training is a breeze. Therefore when you walk your dog make them “HEEL” and obey your commands quickly.
Do not let them lead you on the leash or they will think they come first and will become the Alpha Dog and you are the follower. Many pet owners make this mistake and “allow” this behavior and then they get upset when the dog does not obey other commands. Push gently on the dog’s chest area ….not on its head but pushing the chest means something to a dog. It means you are the Master and the dog will get the drift.
You want to take this course yourself and learn the tips that will save you headaches in owning a dog. The earlier you start this training the better even at the age of 7 to 8 weeks a dog should be taught the basics of following commands from you. If you are consistent with your training each day at the beginning of the puppies life you will get results.
Sit is an easy one- just say the word “SIT” and if the dog is still standing push down on their back at the bum area gently of course and make the dog sit. They will get the idea eventually and are very eager to please you.
More techniques than we can write here are in this program that we highly recommend and we review all dog training techniques and programs very thoroughly before we can make that statement.

Here is what some people have told us about Daniel’s Course:
From Cara:
“Dear Daniel, Your book was a lifesaver! Our 2 year old black German Shepherd, Jack, came to us from a woman who was not able to cope with him herself. When he came to us at the beginning of the year he was a total handful. He was boisterous, aggressive, skittish and unresponsive.”
From Doug:
“Hi, I bought the online book Secrets to Dog Training, because I have a big Guardian dog, and she was very aggressive to strangers in our house. I knew she could be trained because her mother was not aggressive. I got several good tips from the book as well as a personal email on how to correct her behavior.”

Is your dog throwing up or getting diarrhea lately and you do not know why you may wish to help your dog get healthier. The cause of the problem maybe dog food related allergies or sensitivities. Dogs that are getting the proper nutrition do not have allergies and if they do -the remedy is in proper nutritious foods. Diet related problems often go away or they linger depending on the quality of food. If you want your dog to live longer-think about organic foods only.
The Benefits of Organic Food for Your Dog
1) Lower vet bills-this is a major expense for pet owners into the thousands of dollars even for simple treatments.
2) Your dog will be healthier, happier and more energetic during its lifetime.
3) Your dog will definitely live longer and with fewer ailments.
4) You will be able to enjoy your pet more when it is not sick or diseased.
5) You will save your dog from pain and suffering from poor food nutrition.
Symptoms of Dog Food Allergies
1) Scratching and sores.
2)Vomiting and indigestion.
3) Hives and itching all over.
4) Fatigue and tired looking.
5) Diarrhea and runny stools.
6) Gas and intestinal gurggling.
To Stop Your Pet’s Allergies
1) Stop feeding your dog what you are feeding it.
2) Switch to an organic only brand and make sure it is certified organic from a reputable company.
4) Give your dog “unflavored-low calorie” yogurt. A couple of tablespoons daily to 1/2 cup for large dogs.
5) Give your dog clean, purified water -not tap water-it is full of chemicals and drugs.
The best probiotics is either yogurt or lactobacillus acidophilus tablet -same as what people take -can be given to a dog that is suffering from diarrhea, which depletes the dog’s body of the friendly bacteria which digests food. Friendly bacteria in probiotics is the beneficial part of the dog’s flora and fauna or intestinal environment that helps the dog digest and remove waste.
The best probiotics are the organics of course with no chemical additives that are harmful. The probiotic advantage is that it will balance the dog’s gut and digestive system and bring it back to normal while replenishing the friendly bacteria which is so important to a healthy dog. A probiotic bacteria yogurt can refresh the gut, reduce symptoms and pain and clean out the bad stuff so to speak.
Pet probiotics works for cats too as cats get feline vomiting and also have food allergies when throwing up their food. Today’s pet foods contain Genetically Modified Foods or GMO’s including corn, soy and some other ingredients in the commercial pet food industry -anything goes into pet foods. Since there are no regulations against harmful ingredients, you will stress out your pet feeding these foods to them. Especially the dog liver which functions as the garbage cleaner as it cleanses the blood of harmful chemicals. When the dog consistently digests bad dog food the dog’s liver is overtaxed and overburdened which in the lifetime of a dog is difficult to repair.
